Anyone using seapora sulfur denitrator ?

I have been running a Aquarium Engineering sulfur reactor . They are made in the US , I think it's possible to ship to Canada.
They work well and don't require maintenance , hope this helps . You can look at there sight or give them a call .

Expensive!!! I wonder how big I need for around 600 gallons of total water?

On a 1000 gal system , I have almost 4 gallons of sulfur in my reactor .
You can call Bill and he will recommend a size for your application , or contact him of facebook.
They are built like a tank and will last forever .

I just messaged him. He’s the guy with the huge home aquarium isn’t he?

Will do. How you find the reactor is for keeping your nitrates low? I got phos handled no prob with Lanthanum chloride. But nitrates are close to 100

Once you have the correct size reactor and amount of sulfur for your bio load , It's pretty much set and forget. It takes some time for it to start working. When the flow out of the reactor reads zero nitrates its working . It will also consume some po4 as was stated by Aquarium Engineering .

If you go with a Sulfur denitrator, remember to keep an eye on your Alkalinity and watch for unbalanced consumption (more Alk consumption than Calcium). They work really well, but you just need to make sure you account for the extra alk used.

Thanks Dennis. Is there anyone who actually uses that particular unit? Still no reply from aquarium engeneering

I’m battling high nitrates all the time and I’m thinking of trying this unit on my 560 gallon tank. Anyone using one or have any input?

I have never used the unit your considering, but i have been using the Aquamaxx TS-1 on my 75 gallon mixed reef for the past two years. I don't know that any one brand is that much better than the other (Ford, Chevy, Dodge) its personnel preference. From my experience i will say that i had the recirculating pump fail on mine. When i replaced it with an identical pump. The factory plumbing didn't line up right. Long story short, buy a model that you easily rework the plumbing on if needed. You will not be disappointed with the reduction in nitrates.
