Anyone using the bubble magus curve skimmers?

Hello, I'm enjoying the curve 7 so far.. Just trying to get a few tips on a broken in one. Where are you keeping your bubble line at? Are you getting very dark to black skimate? How long does it take to get a good collection? Here's mine I want to get some darker mess.

I like to keep my water/ bubble line just above the white brace that goes around it. I get good skim there.not too wet not too dry

Ive got the curve 7 as well and love it. It pulls out the darkest reef tea from a system with a 150g of total water volume. I've been running it on one system or another for going on 3 years and it runs like a top. I keep the bubble line just past the bottom of the collection cup. I run more towards the wet side and I need to empty it every weekend. I let it go sometimes and I can get two weeks but it is to the top by then. I must say I have to run it at the max setting or it does overflow so it is a bit finicky in that regard but it pulls out some dark, dark goo so no worries there.

I think it looks like its working well.I just cleaned mine yesterday so there's not much to see right now.

Cool thanks for the feedback! I sometimes chase my tail trying to dial it in and need to just let it be lol.

This is a little more than a week's worth of skimmate. Just let it be. It will break in on its own time. Also I do not run filter socks so it has a lot to collect.

Mine have the same foamy outcome and I tried each and every setting possible.
Otherwise pull out lot of mess. Here is after a day / no filter socks on a quite small tank for his "official" capacity (RS Reefer 350)

This is more of what I'm producing. It's dark but not black like I've been seeing. But I like it.
