Looking at this vs the Tunze 6040. Seems to have more control options. And it's about $40 cheaper. Going into a nano 10G. Thanks!

I am using the eflux 660 and 1050 powerheads and the loop return pump on my 40 long. I absolutely love how quiet they are and the controllability.

I am using 2 of the 2100 on my 80 gallon and I love them. Very quiet and love the control. Creates a nice back and forth surge when synced together.

Do you think the 660 can create a surge if I tune it on its own in a tank that is 15"Lx10"Wx12"H?

Bought an eflux return pump, and plan to put a couple of their wavemakers on my new 140. Glad to hear folks seem to like them.

I don't think that it will get a real back and forth surge, but I think that it will give you plenty of flow and they are really small in comparison to some other pumps on the market.

I have this replacing a Hydor Koralia 240G powerhead. Want to create something other than a constant flow.

You can have it ramping and alternating off and on and all of that for random flow type patterns, but there is no wave in/wave out motion with a single pump. I'm sure it will be fine for what you need it for though.

So with a 15" length I should technically be able to tune the off/on to create some interesting flow patterns. Thanks!

I think I'm a 10 gallon you would be fine but
I would probably go with two. That way you can have a lot of flow and make waves.
