Haven't seen many mention using these on here. Seem to be well built from what I can tell on youtube. Can be used for ponds or aquariums. I was looking at the Periha PB-25000 for a possible basement sump.

For anyone interested in these pumps.. I found a couple pictures of them in action on one of the koi forums. For $129 I may just take a chance on one and see how it goes. Seems like the pond guys have been running them for a few years now.

@Ashish Patel you still running these?
You know I just found this on google so sorry for the 2 year delay lol - did you go with the pump?

I love the Periha pump, i upgraded to the largest one because the 12' head pressure really reduces the 6000 gph to maybe 1000-1500gph. I use the original one now as a back up and for waterchanges so great to have a spare on hand.

The build quality, the energy efficiency, the low maintenace. The impeller doesnt get restricted much its like a large green wheel. Very easy to clean. I've had it running over 2 years, its very quiet, its doesnt seem to ever get stuck and can handle head pressure very well.

I am making a YT video about all the equipment needed to start a Reef tank, I'll have a mention of the Periha.

I know I mentioned it in my previous video so check it out.

Thanks for the reply. I never did pick one up but I'd still be interested to hear your review of it. I may at some point pick one up to try.

I love it... I think they are way more robust than the other brands and build quality is top notch. They dont tend to slow down between cleaning like other pumps do because of the impeller design. I have it pushing 12-13 feet up and it performs well... It is quiet aswell but I do have vibration noises caused by the PVC pipe vibrating but thats an installation issue I have to deal with. Best part is even if you didnt like it you can always use it for a mixing vat, which Is what I did when I had to get the highest GPH model. I use the older one as a backup and for waterchanges. hope this helps.
