I lost track of my dosing amounts for copper in my QT. My hanna reagent doesn't show up until Thursday and I used my last packet today. I would like to get close to therapeutic levels, then test and fine tune once my reagent shows.

Water volume 58 gallons
Current chelated copper level 1.26 ppm
Therapeutic level is 2.5 ppm
Copper Power dosing instructions - 1 fluid oz per 20 gallons to reach 2.5 ppm

Thanks for any help!

I arrive at 1.45oz to attain 2.51 ppm

58gallons × 1oz / 20gallons = 2.9 oz from 0ppm

You are already at 1.26, so divide original result (from 0ppm) by 2 = 1.45oz

Equals 42.88ml...

All solutions agree
