Anyone what these things are on my coral ?

I dipped my coral when I first got them and these were not on them. I just noticed they are on them now and was wondering if anyone knew what they were ? I just dipped them again. Just in case

Vermited snails. Crush them with tweezers. Not really terrible, but their mucus webs can annoy corals. Also, they can breed and spread like crazy. So crush them!!! Crush them, amd enjoy the surge of power that comes from knowing you control life and death of other beings, like a god!!!

Do you know how they got there ? Or how they could of gotten in my tank ?

They likely came in with another frag or piece of rock.
Even with dipping, could have survived, all you need is one..... then you will have many more. Not gonna kill anything, but will annoy some corals as they spread their 'web' to go fishing for food.

+1 on this. They could have been on a rock, on another frag, or even on one of these frags, but you just didn't notice at the time because they were super small or something. I just killed about 30 the other day. And I am sure I will have to kill more in a few more weeks. But as myself and @divewsharks have both said, they aren't really harmful to coral. They just are annoying and multiply fast. Also., being snails, they do require calcium to build their shells, so in that regards they compete with coral for the calcium in the water, leaving less for the corals to use for their skeletons. So just one more reason to kill them when you can.
