Anyone with a AI Hydra mounting arm?

I'm trying to see if it will fit between the tank and the overflow....can someone tell me how deep the clamp is?

I've got 2.5 inches between the back of the wall and the overflow wall.

on my jbj 45 with 3/8 thick glass the part that would concern you is about 2-7/8 into the tank includingtng the screw.
