Anyone with the canon powershot sx40hs here?

Cant seem to take any good pictures with this canon powershot. Does anyone have a great setting for this camera for macro shots. If you do can you walk me through how to set it up. Tell me each seting you have yours on for good pics. i can never get the colors on my corals to come out

I have that camera, but I am not really good with taking pics. I'm still learning. I adjust everything manually and play with the settings until I get the shot I like.

Might work out better if you could explain exactly what issues you're having and post some images to show the issues.

You don't need someone with the same type of camera to help you. Most who are familiar with photography will be able to help you, once they know what you're struggling with.

Set the white balance first then as long as your focused it takes really great pics.

trying to figure out the white balance? also i cant get any macro shots with this camera

Go to custom white balance, put a piece of white paper under lights, take a picture and your white balance is adjusted automatically. The that and lemme know how it works.
