Taken out of water, so a bit difficult to be sure, but looks like ascidian/ sea squirt.

Will be difficult to determine out of water but best immersed under white lighting

Those are tunicates (A.K.A. Ascidians or Sea Squirts) - harmless filter feeders.

They should be fine, yes. To my understanding, though, some tunicates can be difficult to keep alive.

im not even sure they are alive , dont see much for movement. i have them in a tank i use to keep bbait fish and feeders in. will keep an eye on them. thanks

Yeah, you won't see much movement from them - the most you should really see is just them opening and closing their siphons that they use to filter the water (and even then, they should - to my understanding - generally stay open).

Telling if they're alive can be done using some sort of dye in the same way you can tell if sponges are alive (see the quote below):

Telling whether it's (still) alive is easy, take some dye (for example baking yeast dissolved in water, that's in many foods anyway, or the glowing green red sea stuff with actual dye) and squirt a bit at the pores of the sponge. If it comes obviously jetting out of the sponges vents (much bigger holes than the pores) then it is alive

Basically, if they're alive, the tunicates will draw the dye in through one siphon and send it out the other. For example:
