Having a small outbreak in my tank of pineapple sponge. Wondering if there is anything that will eat them? Or do i have to manually remove with tweezers. Please lmk what you guys think.

in my system they populated and i just left them alone and they eventually thinned out naturally.
i've never heard of them causing an issue. are they negatively impacting something in your system?

No doesnt look like it yet but some are growing very close to corals.

I have always seem more in newer systems then mature systems. Not sure what exactly causes it but seems they get outcompeted but other organisms as a tank matures and their population balances out. You can pick them off the rock in the display if you want but they will likely die back on their own. Likely they will always survive in the overflow and darker sections of sump and are good bio diversity.
