Hard to say. He does appear to have three white patches on his face, but it could just be lighting.
Has he started making a burrow yet (moving sand)?
Has he eaten anything?
Overall, how is he behaving?

So, I tried feeding today and he came all the way out to eat, which is a very good sign. He has started to burrow behind a rock. When I took the picture I think there was a watermark on the glass. The only thing I noticed is a bit of white colour on the lips. It's not fuzzy tho.

I could try feeding with kanaplex for the next couple days just in case?

It is very common for these guys to have whitish lips when stressed.
If you are able to feed medicated foods, it is not a bad idea.
Also, this species prefers cooler water than most folks keep their reef. When I have kept them in the past, I have always kept the water temp between 72 and 75. I am uncertain of the lifespan of these guys, but the longest I have been able to keep one is 4 years.

My tank is at 72 f. I think I’ll feed Kanaplex just to be safe.

Sounds like with your water temperature and the fish eating, things are going fairly well.

You need to be precise with any oral dose for Kanamycin. Noga says that some species are sensitive to it. The basic dose is 50 mg of kanamycin, per kg of fish mass, per day for five days.

Need more than a facial shot to assess the overall fish.
Is there a reason you are feeding with Kanaplex or just for the cause?
