Anything wrong with this torch coral?

Anything wrong with this torch? It has been in tank for 2 plus weeks now. I dipped it with revive and brightwell coralmedic when I got it.

It seems that the parts where I circled have not fully extended compare to the other side (upper on the pictures). It looks like the circled area has less polyps.

Yeah, it looks to be dying. That exposed skeleton is bad news.

Frag off the healthy part.. move it away from that receding stuff. I know it sucks but anything killing the other part can spread.

You could try an iodine dip, but it honestly looks like you will likely loose those damaged heads. I would try to frag the healthier heads to separate them bit wouldn't loose complete hope. LPS can be amazing sometimes and come back to life from the littlest amount of flesh.

Some of those up close pictures look like you May have a Dino infestation. They will irritate and kill coral. Turn lights out for 5 days, start dosing peroxide at 1mL per 10g each day, and run UV if you can.

I would see if any of your lfs or local reefers have a band saw. Make sure you do an iodine dip after fragging and keep the healthy away from the sick ones.

Yea sorry it looks like those heads are dying out, thats what happened to me when my torch was dying. In my opinion I would take those heads off before it takes out the rest of the coral. You could try iodine dipping, I just wouldnt risk it considering how expensive torches are.

There is tissue recession, May be due to :
high flow
insufficient lighting
pests
Hi Alk
High nitrates
Low CA
High Mag
Temp too warm
Salinity too high.

I also see Crazy algae which may be upsetting it and an indicator that you may have elevated phosphate or nitrate or both. Test those first and hopefully you are not using API test kits for this. The algae looks like what is known as Calothrix. This species of cyano often appear as a light slimy yet hairy/fuzzy nastiness that loosely attaches to your rock work. Air bubbles are usually trapped while escaping the algae, just like in your picture. Calothrix is a type of algae that looks very similar to Dinos. Remove the rock and scrub, and then fine tune with a toothbrush. Let the cleaner crew get the rest.
Cleaners: Chitons, Nerite- margarita-astrea and margarita snails.

I have dino? Is this really dino?
How about the rest of my corals of I turn off the lights for 5 days? I have UV running all the time.

I don’t want to remove the rock if I don’t really need to since my helfrichi’s home is right under the rock. Can I just get more CUC then to tackle it?

the torch look like that from day one when I got it. I am going to show the picture to my LFS where I got it from as he said that he might be able to help me with it or give me some deal and etc. Maybe I can return or exchange it.

Yes looks like dino and when they die off they could potentially release toxin that will kill other fish inverts etc. I just went through this horrible phase. You need to dose phosphates to around .1 UV helps too with the h202

Carbon is fine but GFO can cause issues. Very low nutrient environments foster bad things like dinoflagellates in a reef environment.

GFO may be affecting the torch as the ferris oxide is very strong.
