Anyway to keep chaeto alive in a bucket while I does vibrant ?

Got some algae issues which looks to be gha/ bryopsis that have not gone away on there own despite me keep nutrients in check. Want to try out vibrant but I also read that it will kill chaeto also which I don’t want. My goal is to dose vibrant to kill off the invasion then put the chaeto back into the fuge and and hopefully my nutrients won’t clime to high

I have a small one. Mostly crabs and a handful of snails because my tusk won’t let them live there life. I knew having a tusk would be a challenge keeping a cuc but now it’s coming back to bit me
