I got my first somewhat pricey zoa. I had been avoiding the famous named types mostly out of cost. But I was at the Cleveland frag swap and a guy offered me five polyps for 20 bucks so I took the plunge

I am not allowed to up load pics here at school (mostly due to the resizing sites being banned) and dial up at home so sorry no pics but I just wanted to share.
I put them about mid way up under 400s and medium flow. Three polyps have already partly opened. One was opening under room lights which I thought was a good sign.

awesome.. there are a few varieties of AoG's out there but the true AoG's are one of brightest palys out there... they will definitely brighten up a tank when they develop into a nice size colony.. :)

I picked up some AOG palys at the swap dave, i paid like 15 for 5 palys.. They are all open and nice! brightest thing in my tank so far! the swap was a good turn out

way too crowded for me to take for long. 15 is a nice price. I got a tabling acro on the cheap from the guy so I was not too concerned that I paid a bit more there for the AoGs.
I have three open polyps right now and the other two still thinking about it I guess LOL

what kind of tabling acro did you get?
anything capping or tabling are my fav type of sps

I teach in a public school with a pretty tight lid on what can be posted and pics are nearly impossible to size and sneak through. Sorry.

The person selling me the table was not entirely sure himself which species it was. I will let it grow out a bit before I try to get a positive id. But for 10 bucks how can I really go that far wrong LOL I had seen a couple others go for 20 + so I am sure I did ok
