Just wondering what everyone's experience is with AOG'S? Meaning what flow & light are you finding they like the best? Thanks in advance

Only in my experience, they do best with high light and medium flow. These are by far my best growers, they can go from a single polyp to 20 or so in a couple of months!

And should've added, my "high light" has been 8" under a kessil 150w, 8" under a 150w hexarc halide, and 6" under 2 ati t5 bulbs. Hope that helps.

I have several colonies going. They seem to do better under mid level light and moderate flow. 150 watt MH around 4" under water with low phosphate and nitrate.
I have yet to see any of them thrive under heaver loads with high nitrate or overly bothersome flow.

Thanks all, I'm getting a 22 polyp frag tomorrow so from the responses they should be happy where I was looking to plug 'em in!

This is where "name" comes in handy. Good support, everyone ^_^

I've got several mini colonies that I know have lineage to the originals. The more light they get the brighter they get, there's a little more straition and darker notes to them with more moderate light. They grow fast regardless of if in moderate or heavy light.
