the ap700 has to be setup using the app, that as of right now. is only functional with the ipad. when you go to setup your own lighting schedule (in the app) it has a huge timeline in military time for the entire day, and you add stuff for how long you want it on and what you want on/off in that timeline.

yea sorry i wasnt clear i can program it without issue I was just looking to modify the clock itself . After speaking with kessil I found out that the device sets its time based on your ipad time. So basically if i wanted to use any of the preset stuff but use them at a different time I would need to change the clock on my ipad and it would update the device kind of wonky but now I know

the whole thing has been wonky thus far. but im still going to get one. its a beautiful light.

My two ap700's were off for the day for about an hour. I was tinkering with my sump and one of the lights came on pure blue at like 20% intensity for about 15 seconds and then shut off. lol If these guys come on at night by themselves at full power, I will loose every coral in my tank. :O

Also, I used to run the lunar cycle when I only had one over my 90 gal, but with two, the moonlights are way too bright. Plus, the phase of the moon doesn't seem to have any effect on the intensity of the moonlight.

Ugh, almost 5 years later, and we are still stuck with a Y2K level app running our $800 per pop lights. Mine are stuck several hours out of sync since daylight savings (which is only an hour, but go figure).

Hope you had better luck
