I really hope they improved the software for this fixture over the software that came with AP700. The AP700 was a great and innovative fixture light wise, but the buggy software, random flickering at odd hours and continual syncing problems made it very frustrating to own. I hope it has smooth ramping between light settings and intensities as I found the stepped ramping on the AP700 very annoying for a fixture in the ”premium” range. Ended up selling mine. If those issues are fixed with this new light, I would definitely consider going back to LEDs with the AP9X fixture paired with T5s in a hybrid configuration.
