I bought the new Apex 2016 during the Black Friday sale. I've spent the last two weeks migrating from my old Apex and used the time to clean up my programming, create a nice mounting board, and clean up the bird's nest of wires. I was quite proud of the work ;-).
So, when I got home from work this past Friday, I wanted to finish up the project by configuring my new Dos pump. I connected it and updated the firmware. All went well and proceeded to calibrate the pump - again with no issues. I have (2) Dos pumps as I am fixing to start the Triton system.
Fast forward - I went out to dinner and came back about two hours later. Walked into the house and immediately noticed a strong odor and all of the lights are off on the tank.
Upon investigation, my new Apex reset itself back to factory default settings. And with even further bad luck, my BRS dosing pump was connected to a outlet that is by default "on". So, it dosed about 150ml of Nopox into my tank.
After freaking out for a few minutes, I immediately did a 50% water change and began work of setting up my Apex again. I did another 30% water change on Sunday. Thankfully my fish seem ok. My corals looked somewhat stressed but I haven't lost anything yet. The tank is very cloudy, but hopefully that will resolve itself.
Sorry for the long post, but I need some help on where to go from here.
First, anything you would recommend with the issue of the Nopox overdose.
Second, I've opened a case with Neptune to see what happened, but I want to see if anyone else had experienced this.
