Hey everyone, I’m on my last leg with this lighting...first off I have over 12 years In the hobby so I’ve done my troubleshooting! I have always had great success with all my growth and lighting. I have replaced my all my light with 3 kessil 360x tuna blues in the last 4 months .. I spared no expense in this tank and it’s never looked worse... I’ve tried alternating scheduals, pars,... etc. I’ve had almost no growth but lots of algae and horrible results... and I’m loosing hundreds of dollars worth of coral way to frequently. can anyone think of anything I’m doing wrong... all my parameters are fine and I’m running a full apex system. My tank is a 60in 120 gallon ...and help would be great

We need some numbers first. If you're having algae issues, it's not lighting. How are you controlling the lights? There's no apex integration with the 360x.

Alk 10.8
Cal 420
Mag 1480
Salinity 1.026
Temp current 78.6
Nitrate, phosphate, etc...all registering zero or little above .. I have Hanna checkers to back up all the numbers of the apex... lights aren’t integrated, just saying I use that for monitoring numbers and dosing...etc..
I do 20 gallon water changes weekly and use tropic marin bio actif

Tank age? Dry rock or live rock? Previous lighting? PO4? NO3? SG? Temp? Alk?
My tank is 4 years old. Started with dry rock haven’t added anything new... not even coral in over a year... I originally used t5s then added the current USA loop system... then switched to the kessils... never had issues before the switch... not saying they are bad lights I just know if I’m using them correctly

Take a look at the BRS Investigate for the 360x. I have the 360we and the BRS video for that model helped me a lot. My lights intensity was weak to say the least and I'm slowly increasing intensity based on the video and coral reactions.

Your alkalinity is much too high for ultra low nutrient system. Having 0ppm or near 0ppm NO3 and P04 is bad, and its even worse with such high alkalinity.

I would also switch to TM pro. No need to carbon dose unless you're feeding heavy? As mentioned above, slowly lower your alk and rent a par meter. Don't guess when it comes to switching lighting. You need a reference point to start from when switching. If your corals aren't doing well and lighting is good, then look at nutrition. The key is heavy in and heavy out.
