Apex AFS Emergency Help Needed with Programming

[emoji115][emoji115]That is one way to do it. If that doesn’t work, this is how I do it. I essentially use if/then programming. Basically if the feeder outlet is on, the pump shuts off and then defers a programmed time. This is what my main return pump is programmed to when the feeder kicks on.

You can essentially take lines 3 and 4 of the main pump programming and apply it to ALL your powerheads and it’ll turn them off when the feeder kicks on.

First go to the apex fusion home screen. Whatever outlet is associated with your feeder, hit the gear and enter programming mode.

Then you come to the programming screen. You can rename the outlet here and then select the outlet type. Select feeder.

Scroll down and program the outlet. This is what mine looks like.

Scroll up and click the cloud looking button. This should program your feeder to feed as you requested.

To program your powerheads and pumps, I use the same process. However, to add line 3 and 4 of the code from above to shut down the pumps, you have to select “advanced” in the control type for the outlet. Just add those lines of code to the very bottom of the programming window, click the cloud and you should be set.
