Many of my fish are juvenile and require small diameter food. Every feeder I've tried dispenses far too much on each rotation. Does the Apex AFS allow sufficient fine-tuning of the aperture to overcome this problem?

I don’t think you’ll have much better luck with the AFS. You might want to look at the Plank from Avast Marine though. It’s a totally different design and they claim that it will even work with particles as small as a powder.

I don’t have any personal experience with it yet because mine is still on order and I’m not expecting it for another week or two, but it’s gotten great reviews.

$200 for a feeder seems a bit steep, but I'll check it out. Thanks.
