Apex alternative

Hello Reef friends, I'm looking to automate my reef tank and I've been looking at the apex system but they are so dang expensive does anyone know any alternatives systems that are budget friendly? Also looking to upgrade my lights.

I use these Kasa Smart Power strips. independent controllable and a great app. The only downside is no connection to PH and Temp Probes. So for temp I use an Inkbird and I go without PH Probing. 1 Powerstrip with 6 outlets and a Temp controller is going to run you $110 Bucks!
