I recently started controlling my prime 16 lights with my apex el. My question is power, should they be plugged into my eb8 or into a regular power strip? If I do plug them into the eb8 how should I use the abilities of the apex as far as powering on and off, for heat? If I set the control as a light I don't want the on/off times since thats already being controlled thru IOTA so do I set it as a different control type? I'm new to apex so sorry if this sounds remedial.

Goto apex fusioN
Find the outlet the light is plugged into via the apex app
Slide to unlock
Click on the gear icon (so you can edit the outlet)
Click on the drop down for control type and select light
Scroll down and you should see temp controls

When I ran my primes a while back I had them plugged into my apex and on the programming side I had them run as always on. But still used the ai app to control them

Yes my hydras are run using the AI app too but temp control is still thru the apex.
Also I could be wrong with my set up as I’m fairly new to apex too.. but here’s how my setup looks like.
