OK Here is what I have found so far from the Neptune Apex site. This will about do it but I want weather etc so I will keep digging and post my program here. I also want to include my Moon lights in this, I know I want it all, what can I say I am a control freak.
The text and code below is from

This is a fairly advanced set of example programs. Each color has it's own set of profiles so that you can tweak the intensity values for each color independently to suit your preferences. For example, you might want to use less than 100% white during the midday period. This programming offers the flexibility to do that easily. The intensities listed in the profiles are just suggestions to help get you started.
First, edit 9 profiles - 3 for each color channels (blue, white, mixed)
For each of the 3 colors, there are 3 profiles... a ramp up (sunrise), a daytime profile (steady light intensity), and a ramp down (sunset).
Each color has it's own set of profiles so that you can tweak the intensity values for each color independently to suit your preferences. The intensities listed in the profiles are just suggestions to help get you started. One note: I don't know if the Onyx fixtures will dim all the way down to 1% and finally shut off at 0. You might find that they shut off at about 10% - if that's the case, set the Start Intensity in the UP profiles to 10 and the End Intensity value in the Down profiles to 10
[Wht_Up]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 60
Start Intensity: 0
End Intensity: 100
[Wht_Day]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 1
Start Intensity: 100
End Intensity: 100
[Wht_Down]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 60
Start Intensity: 100
End Intensity: 0
[Blu_Up]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 60
Start Intensity: 0
End Intensity: 100
[Blu_Day]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 1
Start Intensity: 100
End Intensity: 100
[Blu_Down]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 1
Start Intensity: 100
End Intensity: 0
[Mix_Up]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 1
Start Intensity: 0
End Intensity: 100
[Mix_Day]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 1
Start Intensity: 100
End Intensity: 100
[Mix_Down]
Type: Ramp
Ramp Time: 60
Start Intensity: 100
End Intensity: 0
Next, program VarSpd ports 1-3 as follows: I don't know which LED color will correspond to which VarSpd outlet once you have the fixtures connected to the Apex... experiment by turning the first three VarSpd outlets ON & OFF to identify which of the programs below should go in for each VarSpd outlet 1, 2, or 3.
[LED-Blue]
Set OFF
If Time 09:00 to 09:59 Then Blu_Up
If Time 10:00 to 18:59 Then Blu_Day
If Time 19:00 to 19:59 Then Blu_Down
[LED-White]
Set OFF
If Time 09:00 to 09:59 Then Wht_Up
If Time 10:00 to 18:59 Then Wht_Day
If Time 19:00 to 19:59 Then Wht_Down
[LED-Mix]
Set OFF
If Time 09:00 to 09:59 Then Mix_Up
If Time 10:00 to 18:59 Then Mix_Day
If Time 19:00 to 19:59 Then Mix_Down
Lastly, program VarSpd4:
[VarSpd1_I4]
Set OFF
(it's not going to be used, so this just set the program to turn it off)
Adjust the operating times as desired.
Note that the duration of the If time statements for the _Up and _Down profiles matches the ramp times in the corresponding profiles.
In the _Day profiles, the ramp time doesn't matter because the start and end intensities are the same - I just put in "1".
