Dumb question- while using the trident and having the dos installed as well will it automatically lower,raise or stop dosing as needed being the measurements it’s getting from the trident?

Yes, you set the base dose amount and thresholds it cannot exceed, then tell it to use trident controlled dosing.

Yes just like ckozma said plus you can set a code to turn it off if it gets to high. I love it
