I am new to the apex world. I have a pentair 40w UV I just added recently.

I want to run mu UV through the apex. What is the best way to do this? Can someone help me with setup through apex fusion?

I plan on running the UV 24/7 as long as the temperature stays consistent. So far there hasn’t been a heating issue with running the unit.

I have it pumped with an octo varios 6 pump.
Any suggestions appreciated!

Its simple when you plug it to the apex go to setting and label your outlet UV on the bottom should be temp that you can add for example if 80f shut off... Not exactly those words but along those lines.... So if your tank heats up the UV shuts off

Well that can keep running but if you want it to turn off too then you would have to program 2 outlets

This is the programming I have for my pump and UV. I have my uv and uv pump turn off if the return pump is off or if the temp gets to 82F. I also have a virtual outlet set to turn off the uv when I dose phytoplankton.

How do you dose the phyto? You have a fridge?

I dose it manually. I just made a virtual outlet so I don't have to manually turn off and on the uv and skimmer separately.
