Apex ATK keeps switching to flow sensor!!

I thought I was going crazy but I’m not, my ATK sensors keep switching on me what the heck!!!

has anyone has issues with the sensors switching to flow sensors? Last night i re-installed to make sure I’m not going crazy this morning I get the notification that my apex has “new tiles”

I had an issue with one of my optical sensors was flipping out, didn't look at the plug # to see what it was showing but it wouldn't surprise me if that's what was happening. Turned out to be a faulty sensor, they sent me a replacement prompt and that took care of it.

Happens to me a lot. Simplest fix is to manually set it instead of telling it to auto detect. Likely a sign the sensor is about to go though.

lol at this point I think it is I was all night playing around with this thing and doing some research

you’re in the money @GK3 The sensors seem to have rust this probably explains why some of my zoas don’t open up probably that rust is in the water smh. I was trying to set them up last night but kept getting an error message

after intensily googling for a while the error message I tried to clean them just to make sure the sensors weren’t dirty and look this

I purchased it the same week the ATK dropped I’m guessing I have the V1 which is a known issue V2 is on it way already

thank god this happened now and not while i was on vacation, I get them Saturday and could play around for a few weeks to make sure everything is working properly!

will carbon or chemipure blue help with the rust in my water ? I have both

I would run some Poly Filter to remove any heavy metals that the rusting metal has introduced. From what I understand the Fe2O3 itself shouldn’t cause any real issue but any Nickel or other compounds that may have been released are more of an issue. Poly Filter should adsorb most if not all of what you don’t want in the tank.
