Apex ATO question

Does anyone know the dimensions on this sensor:

I have limited room and from the picture this thing looks to be huge.

I think I just found it:

• Module Dimensions - 4.75" L x 2.75" W x 1.375" H
• Mounting Bracket Dimensions - 6.5" L x 3" x 3.5" (loaded with sensors and float valve)
• Pump Dimensions - 2.25" OD x 5.5" H

For some reason not every site seems to list dimensions.

Anyone remove the float valve on this thing?
I like the idea of hooking it up to my APEX but, that takes up too much room for what I am looking for.
