Apex Autofeeder Bracket

Had a request for a food ring to work with the Euro Brace AFS holder. I think the design is done and have printed a prototype. Will work with existing holders if anyone is interested they will be $10 plus $4 shipping. Will float in the aquarium under the AFS. Will adjust to changing water level if return pump is slowed during feeding, up to a maximum of 4" distance between water level and top of the Euro Brace. Cad photo below. Will post actual photos when I get a final print and make sure it functions as intended.

I’m interested in trying it out.

Have the design done and working print for the floating feeder ring. Much more complicated and time consuming to print than I expected after multiple designs and attempts. For those that expressed interest I will honor the $10 plus $4 shipping. Future orders will be $15 plus $4 for the shipping.
Photos below showing the two pieces, how the ring holder slips in between the brace and bracket and all together with the floating part riding on the two pins.

Ring will stay on the pins up to a maximum distance between the top of the brace and the water level of roughly 4"

Modification to the AFS holder also. So two versions available. The original holds the black bracket the AFS clips into. Had a request for a holder that would connect directly to the AFS as they no longer had the black bracket... SOOO here it is. I still like the other version as I think it holds the AFS more securely.

I’m still in. Need two.

Can you pm me the price shipped to 92557 for the feeder ring and the mount that connects directly to the feeder.

Still Available?

I'd need two

Can you make the bracket any larger (to fit a thicker brace)? I need to mount my AFS to the top of my light bar

Hope you are doing ok with the weather in TX!!

Yes I can make two. If you have a photo of the location that would help. Need to know how thick the bar is in mm.

Thank you!

The situation here in Dallas is kind of crazy. I'm originally from Canada so I can say with certainty that things should never have gotten this bad ... it's cold, for sure (hit -20F with the windchill) ... but it should not have been the end of the world. Biggest problem is power ... they've enforced rolling blackouts across the metroplex leaving people in the dark for 12+ hours at a time. I've been lucky, but I visited my LFS and they've lost almost half of their livestock.

Anyway ...

I want to mount my 2 AFS units to the top of my light bar, between the lights (it is a 5' display so I have 3 lights hanging from the bottom of the bar).

The light bar is an EcoTech Marine Multi-Light RMS. You can find it online but they don't seem to publish the official specs/dimensions. See attached for the only official documentation.

See attached photos for my installation.

The top of the bar is approximately 3 1/8" wide, and the thickness of the extrusion is about 3/4". The biggest challenge is its shape (a very shallow "U") ... so it would be ideal if you could increase the width of the lower flange that holds the clamping screws such that the screws came up at the bottom of the "U" ... say 1.5". Otherwise, I'm worried that if I tighten the screws on the rising part of the profile it will just squeeze the bracket forward until it falls off.

Thoughts?

Here are 2 slightly better photos. If it appears the the outermost edges slant inwards, they actually don't ... they are vertical ... its jus the optical affect of the way they slant backwards (away from the camera) together with the awkward angle I took the photo from. The outside edge-to-outside edge dimension is 3.125"

Also, notice how there is a channel in the underside of the track ... it would be awesome if the screws came up from the bottom into that!

BTW - can you please print it in black?
