Apex classic email Alert frequency

Hi Guys .
Anybody know how to change the frequency of email alerts once an alarm has been triggered.
Mine come at a rate of one every 4 minutes.
As mentioned it's a classic and I do have a a display module if needed.

Go to the dashboard. So apex.local or your controllers IP address. Go to the network page and then email and check the re-email setting. Should be set to 60 mins by default.

Alarms should only be sent when triggered. If still triggered then it will send another every hour.

Sounds like yours is being triggered and then turning off then being triggered again.
What is the alarm for? Have you looked at using Defer statement at end of the code to make sure whatever is triggering alarm has been in that state for a while, instead of having a float switch bouncing.
