apex classic setup for a idiot?

Trying to set up this apex I picked up used, it was working fine before I picked it up.

Well I connected it to the router, but the IP address isnt updating.

I have reset it multiple times and nothing changes.

I am very computer dumb lol

I was hoping it was plug and play lol.

Also When I try to get the token it doesnt give that option.

It is updated to the latest firm ware so what can i do?

and I did figure out the temp issue, I had it plugged into the wrong spot lol

typically, the Apex is set to a static IP address so that it doesn't change and therefore break port forwarding.

Can you access it locally with a web browser? Use the display unit menu and look up the network settings - is DHCP enabled or disabled, and what is the IP address - is it what you are used to or a different address?

I unplugged everything and reset the brain. Now it’s working but I have a light plugged into the eb8 and it’s not showing it. Just temp and ph when I go to the fusion site

In Fusion on the top right hit the lock. You can drag the items down then click the lock to close it. You are looking for something like this.

Ok is there a video or something that shows in detail how to set this up? I can’t figure this thing out for the life of me. I’m ready to take it down and sell it.

Ok I got it to the point where I can swipe left to turn things on off or auto but nothing is happening.

Is there a way to test the eb8?
