Just recently picked up a complete setup and it came with an Apex Classic, don't plan to learn how to use it and just going to sell it.

Display brightness is a little off. Sometimes its bright but most of the time it's dim, but looks to be working, not really sure.

Once you use Apex, you will be hooked. I bought and sold two as I could not figure them out. Then a local club member tapped into my dashboard and named everything. I liked it so much I bought an Apex 2016. Been a reefkeeper owner for a couple decades prior to that, although I have RK on my other three tanks

Yeah I've had one set up for me before as well and it is easy to use once its connected through the web page.
I think I would opt to get a 2016 one myself, seems like it's a lot easier to work with.
