I currently have an older Apex Controller. I am using it for my ATO via the breakout box, for controlling my Vortech pumps, dosing pumps, lights, temp, etc. What I am wondering is what I need to upgrade to get a Triton unit working with my system? Is it just the head unit? Will the power bars work with the new head unit? Will my modules work with the new head unit?

1. It’s Trident, not Triton.

2. You need an Apex EL or apex 2016 head unit.

3. Yes, it is backwards compatible. Existing modules and power bars will work.

4. God bless trying to find a Trident in stock
