Apex controller question..Which one to buy?

OK , I'm ready to buy a apex controller, Do I really need the 525 buck one with the lab grade ph probe or even the 499 one with the regular probe,

Why cant I just get the apex lite for 369 if I already have a pinpoint ph monitor system,

Is this the only difference..

Ive read and cant find out what else is so different for the 130 buck swing

Any advice on which to get would be great

I recently bought an Apex lite. I wish I went full system for future expandability. IMO, you don't need the lab grade probe. I'm more than pleased with the Apex lite though.

I bought the full Apex system with the regular ph probe. The reason for me was the expandability. I did not want to get something that I was locked into and could not expand later. I would have kicked myself in the tail. I think it was worth the money for me. Hope this helps.

I thought the same thing but wasnt sure if i could expand the regular apex later on..
I guess its sorta like buying a car fully loaded..

I picked up the Apex over the Black Friday sales and saved 10%. Started hooking everything up this past weekend, and ran the cat 5 cable from my home theater network hub to the tank. I did some very simple programming this past weekend, but will be adding a second Tunze powerhead next weekend and working on more programming. I did realize I forgot to order the breakout box for my float switch that kills the skimmer pump if it overflows, so that is on the way along with the cable to connect my two Tunze's to the Apex. Fun, Fun, Fun!

Well got the Full Apex,Installed and working wonderful.. So much to learn thought,anyone know where codes are that i could copy and paste similar settings..
