This weekend I had a total nightmare of a load of chaeto from some new balls I added breaking free and finding its way into my cor 15. While I now know this wasn't a huge issue and I didn't need to take apart the pump to clean it at the time I thought there may be some further in and thus began the epic adventure of getting the cor 15 back together working and silent! (never again).
Anyway to avoid such foolishness in the future I really want to add a pre-filter to the cor. Some sort of plastic guard is fine just enough to stop large matter getting in but not impact flow. Any ideas / recommendations?
