Apex disconnects from wifi, salinity probe stops working?

As title. New apex owner here, still getting to grips with this system as I cycle my tank (build thread coming soon)

After my apex went offline for o reason my salinity probe stopped working completely (reading of 0, was working previously) No idea what to do here, any advice? Disconnecting it didnt help, nor did restarting the control unit

Troubleshooting intermittent wifi connection issues can be difficult.
Could be that the Apex and router aren't playing well, or the signal at the Apex is too weak.
Also, it's been my experience that suboptimal utility power can cause the wifi connection to fail.
I had some wifi dropout issues initially as well.
They vanished after I put each Apex on a UPS, and upgraded my router.
Before you spend money, though, you should put in a ticket with Neptune tech support.

Something else that needs to be looked at, is your router running on 2.4 GHz or 5 Ghz. If my memory serves me correctly, the Apex was built to run on the 2.4 GHz setup. I have mine on a dual band and have no issues, but some people do. @rkpetersen, am I correct?

Yes, it's 2.4 GHz with the Apex. Most 5 GHz routers can also handle 2.4G.
The newer ones blend both frequencies together into just one named network.
