Yeah, but there are ways around it to get someone to buy from a certain company, IE: Apple. If you buy a iphone from Target, you pay the full price but Target gives you say a $50 gift card to entice you to buy from them. So what company wants the business, if they are all the same.Apex is MAP pricing, so no unless Neptune authorizes the sale which is hardly ever.
Well, I don't think this works in this hobby/industry especially with the big brands. If I recall correctly, BRS can't even give increased reward points on Apex gear during their preferred reefer/group buy sales. If they can't give points worth store credit, I wouldn't expect any non-Apex sanctioned sales or discounts. On that note, if Neptune approves a sale/promotion/discount/bundle savings, etc. etc., it will generally be available to all their authorized retailers, not likely to be an individual retailer having an advantage over the others.Yeah, but there are ways around it to get someone to buy from a certain company, IE: Apple. I have heard of local shops offering discounts for Veterans and things of that nature but I think the owner/operator has to make up the difference. I also know of a couple of shops that offer store credit equivalent to a "discount". Ex. Buy a $1500 Red Sea Reefer and we will give you $150 in store credit. But they still sell you the product at the MAP pricing.
