Apex Doesn't See EB8

I continued to set up my Apex Classic today. I noticed when I add an EB8 Fusion changes the lock to orange and says there were new outputs added. I connected a third EB8 but didn't get the alert in Fusion and the EB8 doesn't show up on the Classic Dashboard. The status light on the EB8 is solid green. What could be the issue and how do I resolve it? Thanks.

Did you change ports try a different aquabus cable

Yes still no luck. I added a PM 1 and that didn’t show either

Right there with you my eb8 isn’t showing up either

Got it figured out!!! I contacted apex and they Remoted into my system the webpage side didn’t get updated...did the first half but not the second half I would try that

Glad that worked for you. My issue was resolved by doing the following.


It looks like the two EB8s are fighting over the same address #4.


I would copy all the programming for the eight outlets EB8_4_1 - EB8_4_8.

Then with the EB8 connected with the AquaBus cable go into the module page and delete the EB8 at address #4. Unplug the AquaBus cable and plug it back in to see if the EB8 gets a new address.

However I now have a problem that the programming isn't working with the EB8. Support is working on this issue now. They suggest reloading the firmware.

Great glad it all worked out and that support was able to help you..sorry didn’t really read into your first post with more then one eb8 connected..only got the one hah
