Hey all,

I have been doing automatic water changes with an APEX DOS on my system for about 2 months now. A question for those doing the same:

Q: I have noticed a lot of precipitation on my clean saltwater line. Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions? I am currently using RedSea Coral Pro, but was going to switch over the Aquaforest soon.

Thanks in advance! I am sure more questions will come!

I have also noted that my water seems cloudy ever since starting doing water changes this way...any advice?!

Here are some pictures to show what I am describing. It is also odd that every tube shown is carrying saltwater, and only the clean line to the tank is doing this.

How long has the coral pro been sitting? Iirc, it must be used within a few hours of mixing, if not it clouds up. Been a while since I've used it, but it never did well for me

I have my water container set up to last 1 month. The water in my water container is super clear minus the sediment in the bottom from the salt mix. The line seems more like it is precipitating out on the line. I think my cloudy water may be from a bacteria bloom, and nothing to do with the line. I did compare the salinity of my storage tank and what is coming out into the tank. Storage tank was at 35, and it is only coming out at about 33.6. This is 100% confirmation it is precipitating out in the tube. Super odd that only that 1 line is be affected, and all the others with the exact same water are all clear.....no idea
