I am trying to set up an Apex DOS DDR combination. I am having issues priming the pump. I can prime it with a glass of water however it looses its prime when i connect it to the DDR. Even if I raise the DDR containers above the DOS pump it will not pump. I can pump out from the lid but not out of the connector. I blew down the connector tube and air came out The bottom of the tube so i know the tube is not plugged. What am I missing?

it sound like you may be sucking in air where the tube enters the ddr reservoir. the connectors are push to connect fittings, are there any inserts with the ddr to put into the soft tubing to stiffen it up so it makes a good seal on the push connect fitting?
i cut short 3/16 plastic tube to put into mine when i connected to my diy reservoirs with push connect fittings. i cut about 1inch lengths and inserted all the way into the tube.

Did you ever figure this out? Mine will not prime either unless I forcefully hold the tub down at the fitting. The minute I let go, hello air!

They were nice enough to send me replacement tubes and connectors free of charge however I haven’t used them yet. I made some out of styrene tubing that have worked perfectly.

I had a similar issue with a dosing container that turned out my connector wasn’t screwed in tight. For the DOS it’s the white piece at the top of the container. Sorry I don’t know the proper term for that piece.

I contacted them and they responded within 5 mins and sent out replacement connections today via usps. We will see how they work. Otherwise I love the dos and being able to have it adjust based on my trident.

I'm having the very same problem. Was the tubing or the fittings the cause of the problem?

The fitting. I just used a styrene tube and attached the flex tube to it. I haven’t had an issue since.
