It seeems that one of my dosing lines once primed backs up several inches from the end of the line.
The other lines remain filled to the end. Why is this happening.?I've changed the lines, vented my dosing bottles, but the problem persists. I am using a brand new Apex DOS unit. Any help is appreciated.

Would it be your Alk which keeps backing up? If so I believe it’s because the solution is thin in substance compared to the Cal & Mag. Also you should put non return valves on.

Great idea. Thank you. I am using the Triton method. It seems to only happen with the 3B solution.

If it’s new, shoot Neptune a service ticket. There should be no excuse for air leaks in a brand new DOS unit. They should send you a replacement head.

Let us know if the non return valve sorts the issue.

It seems that I am an idiot. I cut the end of the tubing at the dosing end in a V so that the drops would form easier. It seems that the viscosity of the fluid was not strong enough to hold it there. When I made a straight cut on tubing the fluid stays in place.

Thanks for the update - interesting to hear what caused the problem.
