Apex dos questions

Sup guys I just cleaned my reservoir for my dosing… I need to re-prime it to get the air bubbles out of the reservoir…every time I hit the botton to prime it..the apex dos is counting that its dosing all for reef…how can I prime it without the apex counting as it dosing all for reef
