I reset Apex, I reset router, had line tested= good. Fusion says I need updated firmware from web but no link is there for it. Download the Apex Flash zip file from here: , and double-click it to open it.
There is NO link after "here:" :(

My Apex is directly connected to the router because wifi on my Apex never worked from day 1. So it isn't a wifi issue. The cable was tested and it is also fine.

I am frustrated to say the least... need help
@Terence

Thank you for replying :) It says my firmware is supposed to be 4.40_3A16 on the website. Also, I am watching a video for setup and when it gets to "make sure dhcp is on" mine says it's off and gives no option to turn it on.

The link I gave you is for the newest version. I'm not aware of needing to have a certain version to upgrade to a newer.
If you run the Executable program and tell it to run it should go out and see your Apex. very easy if your apex is hard wired to your router and your computer is also hard wired mine is it went out and found it.
DHCP should not have any issue with the update. If you still have a problem can you login to your Apex? Have you tried there are tools in your router to find the iPad address of your APEX

If you can get into your router it should show you all the items connected to it.
When you first setup your Apex you had to give it a name and password to use to login
Yell at me and I'll try to help
But also look on YouTube on how to set it up as well

I don't know how to access the tools for the router (belongs to the cable company) I did get the ip off my browser though. Anything else I'm unsure of... Apex was running for over 2 years and is not a new setup. I don't get why this is going on and am now not having a good day ... grrr

I can login to my fusion account yes. But there's nothing in the settings to back up my settings. At least not that I can find. Maybe because my apex is down. I am on my last nerve. I check the vids... all for new setup and new setup updates... and I haven't got hours on end to watch every one of them in hopes of a clue :(

I am having the same problems. How did you get it to backup?? I cannot find the option to backup my settings.

Sorry, I've been sick yesterday and missed this. My problem was because we had a power outage that lasted 6 hours. When the apex started the display had reverted back several years plus the ip address on my cable box had changed (I didn't know this when I originally reset the router). I went into the display, changed the date and up address. Once it connected I could access fusion and update it. However, I never did figure out how to do a backup.

A combination of the link Bob posted, resetting the display with date, time, ip address updated, dhcp set to ON. Then I went into network and reset the system. I'm pretty sure that's what I did... hope I didn't forget anything

Oh, one more thing although I've had my Apex for two and a half years I never really messed around with it much only to set it up. But I never really edited anything through the display other than my date, IP address originally and probes. So I didn't realize that in order to get options you had to use your up and down arrows that is why I couldn't find the option to turn on DHCP. I don't know if this will help you or not but it was part of my issue.
