My ApexEl is about a year-and-a-half old.
The power flickered at my house tonight for about 15 seconds. Everything shut off Aquarium and then turn back on but my Fusion will not connect. I tried going through the setup mode 5 times, I've tried reconnecting Wi-Fi. After about 2 hours I put in a ticket. I got a bad feeling that it's dead. I can't control anything my clock says it's 6 hours off my actual time here. I got things going on that are not supposed to be like my rodi is making water and the switches are not activated to do so.
It's late I'm going to bed and I'm at a loss at what to do.
Any suggestions? The base light is blue and won't connect, tried everything.

Did you try this?

If the base light is blue, that means it's in Hotspot mode instead of connecting to your actual wifi.

First, copy paste the configuration summary from fusion just in case the head unit got the configuration wiped or corrupted.

Then, try following the initial wifi setup guide to get the network reestablished.

Once that happens, you can troubleshoot further. If you apex got reset or corrupted, you can either reconfigure or restore a backup config (if you saved one from apex local. Most people forget to do this regularly including myself).

Initial wifi setup not working. How do I restore a backup?
Edit; base is now orange, but still not connected to fusion.

You have to get it connected before you can restore a backup and you can only restore it if you saved one. If you saved one and can get connected to apex.local, you can restore it from the save/load area there.

Ug, just got woken up cuz my main pump shut off. Well, the outlet got shut off.
This is frustrating. I can't turn it back on cuz I can't get into the app. Okay, moved to an outlet that is on. Hope more things don't shut off by itself. Back to bed, morning is coming fast.

This morning went thru the steps back to the blue logo. Found my Apex but for 10 minutes stuck here

Edit:
Tried 1 more time before I left for work. It's now connected be my dashboard is nothing like I had it. Switches are labeled different, ect...
I'm at work now. Do I have to be home to restore? If I can restore... Probably should be home in an event something goes haywire.

What is really strange is my probes are not working at all. 11:50 pm when my pump shut off is the last entry. Wav are off also.
Hopefully I can restore but I'm losing faith.

Just got back the data from last night. That drop is when the power flickered. Seems like my pH probe died??

After some reading, I guess I went back to factory reset. So all my programming is lost. I spent hours and hours of programming.
Zombie, can I fly you to Connecticut and have you reprogram everything? I want to cry right now. :(
I found where I saved it in my internal storage. Looks like a pdf file. I'm terrible at this programming stuff, what do I do with it? Is this what I need to bring it back?

The pdf file can't be used to restore a backup. That only lists the programming for each outlet, module, VOs, etc. You can use that to substantially speed things up with copy paste, but will take some time.

First, use that pdf as a guide to rename all of your outlets, create all your VOs, name all your profiles, and name all of your probes.

Second, copy paste your old code into each outlet.

Third, try to remember any changes you made after this backup and perform those.

I would check with support too if that sounds super daunting. I have been asking them for years to create some sort of auto backup system in fusion and its possible there is a new feature I am not aware of yet that can help this process some. I've been out of the game for a couple years.

Once your apex is back to normal, go to apex.local and save a backup.

Yeah, I don't think I ever backed it up. This is the first I heard of it. I guess I assumed any changes were automatically saved.

Okay, 99% restored. Working on alarms and have to double check that everything works correctly. Then I will do the backup.

@ZombieEngineer thanks for your help but I have one more question. Not sure if you know this.
My sicce pump says 100% on my dashboard but the program is 66%. Before I lost all my programming the dashboard and the program read 66%.
Do you know why or how to fix?
Thanks again
