Just connected a Apex EL and it seems to be reading the temp in my tank wrong. I switch the temp probe and calibrated and still have the same issue. What can be the issue?

Have you been able to confirm the actual tank temperature with a stand alone thermometer? We use both a glass mercury and a digital candy thermometer to double check temps. Next i would update the apex module and see if it has an effect. Does the reading fluctuate slightly with heater or light cycles?
