I paid then seller but made a mistake thinking it was an EB8. I asked the seller for a refund because it was an honest mistake. He agreed but said he already shipped it out but could change the shipped address back to himself. He said once he received it back and would refund me the money. I asked for the tracking number and... crickets! It has been a couple of days of me messaging and still no reply’s! Do not send this seller any money for this because (IF) he’s even telling the truth he does not have it in is position. He will not reply to my messages so it seems a bit flakey. I would NOT transfer any money to him !

your refund was processed in the amount I told you - less the shipping for your mistake. i told you via PM that 35 would go back to you when the item was back in my hands - there was some uncertainty as to whether or not the destination address could be re-routed mid shipment. i’m sorry but sending you your payment back without the unit back in my possession was never an option. you take care now

i will refund your payment, it hasn’t been shipped yet - it just showed back to me today. which is why the refund to the other guy didn’t go back until a few hours ago (before he posted here, i’ll add). you both need to learn to read what was clearly posted for the item described. your lack of attention to detail is making selling this thing more hassle than it’s worth.

I don't believe this will work with classic either,
I'm pretty sure it ONLY works with either the original apex, apex light, or the even older aquacontrollers.
Upon further research, it will work with the classic and junior. Pg 95 of the comprehensive reference manual covers how to add it.
It's also technically not an "energybar" its a direct connect 8 (DC8)

this will 100% NOT work with a new grey and orange wi-fi apex.

OP, if you still have it end of this week, i'll take it. do you know if its the 6 triac 2 relay module? or are all 8 triac's?

It definitely works on my classic, but you have to manually add the address/modules/etc IIRC. I don't know how to check on the # of triacs...can you advise how? Happy to check for you. And cool. No hurry.

i believe serial #'s below 9000 are all triac
9001 and up are 6T/2R
