Hi. I find the Apex programming very complicated. I'm sure this has been answered before but I can't find a simple answer. I have my feed cycles setup and working fine. However I have an external auto-feeder (not Neptune related) that feeds the tank at noon. How can I have FeedA go active at noon? Thanks in advance for your help.

Use one of the outlets on your EB, and set an on/off time for for the feed to turn on and off.

The Feed A/B/C/D cycles cannot be triggered through programming. They can only be activated by manually clicking the Feed buttons on the dashboard.

But you can simulate Feed cycles to achieve the same result through programming. Read my Apex Feed Cycles tutorial for details and examples on how to set it up:

I have different pieces of equipment that turn off and on when I hit one of the feed cycles and I delay for the example here of the skimmer. The skimmer turn off the on after a delay. Notice feed A turn back on after 5 minutes. One can also set up a time to turn off and on with a certain outlet.

Thanks. I have referred to your tutorials several times. Thanks for taking the time to write and share them. I will have to study it closer. I was hoping there was some way to simply trigger one of my feed cycles.
