Has anyone experienced your FMM module malfunctioning to where it will turn on the PMUP pump and not turn it off? This has happened to me twice now. Luckily I have three fail safes in case this would to ever happen. Oddly, the high water Apex sensor did not turn off the pump either. The latest incident was it never turned on to fill the ATO container as the water was being used. Each time the malfunctioning occurs, I have to unplug the FMM and then plug it back in. Once I do that everything is fine. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jim

Is the Apex and module firmware up to date? I have an FMM connected to a Jr. on my office tank that would frequently seem to lock up and not fire when the water level was below the sensors. I ended up having to get the folks at Neptune to reapply the firmware update and it settled down.

I seem to recall reading that some of the older FFM modules don't play well with the newer firmware updates. You'd have to search the threads to see exactly what the issues were.

I used fmm and atk. Both kept locking up and not operating stuff connected to it. Updated fw many times, changed flow meters, solenoids, reset almost daily... I tried and tried then gave up....

Thanks for the replies! If I get a new one, it should be just a plug and play kind of thing right? If not, then I'll just use some float switches to the Apex BOB to operate the pump... actually this sounds like the route I'll go.

I trust the floats more than anything else. I used to use 2 floats with the BOB..still do on the frag tank.
