Ok so after my screw up with my accidental over dose on my alk things are back to being good. I want to now set up the dosing pumps to take care of this with my brs dosing pumps. I want the pumps to come on for 3min 55 sec every hr for 12 hr on alk and same on the other 12 hr for calc. Here is my problem. I have no idea how the programing should look. I have read and read the directions and the un offical guide but can't make heads or tails of it. can someone please help me program this. Alk to come on 1 am to noon and calc to com on 1pm to midnight. Im seriously lost on this.
Thanks in advanced

Fallback off
OSC 000:00/003:55/056:05 then ON
If Time 12:00 to 00:59 Then OFF
If pH > 8.45 then OFF

The OSC function is on time(minutes after midnight) / on length in mins/ off length in minutes
So starting at midnight it will turn on for 3 minutes 55 secs then off for the remaining 56min 5 seconds of the hour, then it repeats.
Since you are wanting to start on the hour you can keep the on time 0. The time constraint will actually control the turn on time. It might also be a good idea to add a pH statement in there as well.

Thank you so very much. I think i'm starting to understand. If I understand the above correctly it would control the Alk correct? the 12:00 to 00:59 then off would control from noon to midnight?

if I wanted the alk to start at 1:00 am should it look like this?

OSC 060:00/3:55/056:05 then ON
If time 12:00 to 00:59 then OFF
If ph> 8.45 Then OFF

For calc to start at 1:00 pm should it look like this
fallback off
OSC 720:00/3:55/056:05 Then ON
If ph > 8.45 Then off

Is this correct ?

Close, but not quite. You have to remember the OSC runs continuous. so it will be cycling on for 3:55 and off for 56:05 indefinitely. The IF time statement controls the time it actually runs if you don't want it cycling the full 24 hour period. If you want it to start on the hour 12, 1, 2, 3 whatever you would leave the first time function at 0. Lets say you wanted to start your pumps at 15mins past the hour, then the first time funtion would be 15:00.
The code I posted should be exactly what you are wanting for the ALK pump. Starting on the hour/on for 3:55/off for 56:05. Off between noon and 12:59 am
now for the calcium
Fallback off
OSC 00:00/003:55/056:05 then ON
If time 00:00 to 12:59 then OFF

Again it will start on the hour and run for 3:55 then off for 56:05 Off between midnight and 12:59pm.
you don't need a ph command here because the Calcium portion won't effect pH.
