Hello, I am having difficulty getting my switches to show up on my input log. I don't see a checkbox in their setup like I do for outlets. Any idea how to get that done?

The Input Log will only show Inputs which return numeric values, such as Salinity, pH, Temperature, ORP, Flow, or Amps. Switches only return Open or Closed, so they don't show up in the Input Log. If you want a log reporting each time a switch changes state, you would need to program an output to respond to that switch, and enable logging on the output. You can use virtual outputs for this purpose so you don’t waste a physical output:

[Log_Switch1] — virtual output
Set OFF
If Switch1 CLOSED Then ON

Enable logging on this output’s configuration screen, and set the output slider to AUTO on your dashboard. When you want to review the switch history, open the Output log and look for entries for Log_Switch1. Or create a chart and select Log_Switch1.

That makes sense, thank you.

How do you see the true/false value in the log? Trying to see if I am interpreting the break out box signal from a switch correctly but only see that it changed

Lol I thought it looked odd. Tried on my phone in portrait mode and it showed up. Odd it doesn't show on the tablet
